Kahului Airport
(Maui Airport – OGG)
Kahului Airport (OGG) primarily serves inter-island and mainland travel to and from Maui and operates with a compact, open-air terminal layout. Unlike large international hub airports, OGG does not offer dedicated on-site conference rooms, business centers, or reservable meeting facilities within the terminal.
Business travelers passing through OGG should plan accordingly. While the airport provides basic amenities suitable for light work, emails, and phone calls, formal meetings, presentations, and conference-style gatherings are best arranged off-airport at nearby hotels, resorts, or business centers in Kahului, Wailuku, and along the Maui resort areas.
Although OGG does not have formal meeting facilities, travelers will find limited amenities that support work on the go.
Due to OGG’s design, quiet or private workspaces are limited, and background noise from passenger movement and aircraft operations should be expected.
Kahului Airport does not currently feature airline lounges with private meeting rooms or conference facilities. Where airline lounges or holding areas are available, they are intended for passenger comfort rather than business or meeting use.
Many Maui hotels and resorts offer:
These venues are commonly used for corporate meetings, retreats, and professional events.
Kahului, Wailuku, and surrounding areas offer:
These facilities are more suitable for structured meetings than airport terminal spaces.
Kahului Airport offers basic amenities for travelers who need to stay connected, but it does not provide on-site conference or meeting facilities. Business travelers requiring private, professional spaces should plan to use nearby hotels, resorts, or business centers on Maui.
Understanding OGG’s layout and planning meetings accordingly will help ensure a productive and stress-free experience while traveling through Maui’s primary airport.
