HONOLULU, Hawaii — Honolulu is once again welcoming visitors from across Hawaii, the U.S. mainland, and around the world as the 25th Annual Native Hawaiian Convention returns to the Neal S. Blaisdell Center from July 20–22, 2026. The convention brings together Native Hawaiian leaders, cultural practitioners, educators, entrepreneurs, government officials, and community members for three days of discussions, cultural workshops, Hawaiian music, hula, and public events celebrating the traditions and future of the Hawaiian Islands. For many visitors arriving through Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL), the convention offers an opportunity to experience authentic Hawaiian culture while exploring some of Oahu's most iconic destinations. Just minutes from the convention venue are Historic Downtown Honolulu, ʻIolani Palace, Washington Place, Kawaiahaʻo Church, and the vibrant beaches of Waikiki, where world-class shopping, oceanfront dining, luxury resorts, and breathtaking Pacific sunsets await.

Many travelers attending the convention also choose to explore Pearl Harbor National Memorial, visit the USS Arizona Memorial, tour the Battleship Missouri Memorial, and experience the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum, making the most of their stay in Honolulu. Others extend their visit with a scenic Circle Island Tour, a journey to the famous North Shore, Kualoa Ranch, Chinaman's Hat (Mokoliʻi Island), Diamond Head State Monument, Hanauma Bay, and the island's spectacular coastal viewpoints.

The Native Hawaiian Convention highlights the importance of preserving Hawaiian language, culture, traditions, and community leadership while welcoming visitors to learn about the islands through educational sessions, cultural demonstrations, local artisans, Hawaiian cuisine, and live performances. This year's convention also features cultural workshops, keynote presentations, a public marketplace, and family-friendly activities that celebrate the rich heritage of Hawaii.
